5 Simple Ways to Find Balance in Your Life

Maintaining a healthy life balance is not just essential for happiness and well-being; it can help boost your productivity at work, give you the confidence and headspace to crush goals, and deepen relationships. Here are a few ways to help you get started and get things aligned in your life: 


1. Unplug.

Disconnect. Shut it down! It’s not easy, but it sure is worth it. Set boundaries for when you use your phone and scroll social media. Here are a few easy wins to get you started:


  • Turn your phone on Do Not Disturb or silent mode at night

  • Turn off notification badges. 

  • Move your apps! Move your most frequently used apps to a folder or on the second screen of your phone


2. Say No.

You’ll never be productive if you take on too much. You’ll spread yourself too thin and won’t be able to get anything done, at least not well or on time. Value your time, know your commitments and priorities, and practice saying “no”. Instead of seeing all of the things you could or should be doing (and aren’t doing), you’ll start to see a shift and say “yes” to what’s truly important. Balance, baby.

5. Minimize toxins.

Chemicals and negative influences around you, alike. Eat healthy, treat your body like a temple, and don’t eat processed food. Also pay attention to the people in your life. How do they make you feel when you’re with them? Focus on surrounding yourself with positive and supportive people that make you feel good.
