The Facilities and Equipment Technician is responsible for a variety of different tasks and programs. This includes but is not limited to preventative maintenance for equipment, contractor interface, helping install all new equipment, and day to day maintenance around the facility. The role is a multi-faceted job and requires good organization and multitasking abilities. This role also requires good people skills, this role will constantly interact with Rowdy Mermaid employees of all seniority levels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing, documenting, and maintaining all preventative maintenance schedules.
- Performing and/or documenting equipment repairs.
- Performing small facility related repairs, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Assisting with the install of new equipment.
- Acting as the contact person for outside contractors working at the Rowdy Mermaid facility.
- Managing and maintaining Rowdy Mermaids tools and maintenance cage.
- Assisting with the sale of unneeded equipment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous facilities or maintenance experience
- Mechanical aptitude to trouble-shoot and repair equipment as needed
- Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and perform the physical duties required for the position.
- An organized self-starter with. a positive attitude
- Reliable and dependable in work attendance.
- Dedication to detail and completion of paperwork
- Excellent people skills
- Problem solver with an attitude of continual improvement
- Able to complete tasks in a timely manner while maintaining a safe working environment.
BENEFITS
JOB INFORMATION
Pay Range: $24-$28/hour
Job Classification: Hourly
Schedule: Monday-Friday- A minimum of 40 hours/ week will be required for this role. A small amount of odd hours, overtime, and weekend work will be needed.

* Please note that this is an FDA facility and removable facial piercings, excessive makeup and perfumes, etc are not permitted on the production floor. Wearing of hairnets, long pants and safety toed shoes, as well as personal cleanliness and uniforms are strictly enforced.
